  • GPS coordinates for addresses - latitude and longitude when you enter addresses using Google Maps autocomplete

Pickup and Delivery Operations Data

When you schedule container pickup or delivery, we collect additional information necessary to provide these services:

  • Pickup and delivery addresses with GPS coordinates
  • Time and date of scheduled pickups and deliveries
  • Photos of containers documenting damage or condition issues (when necessary)
  • Optional notes about delivery instructions or special requirements

If you provide additional information such as gate codes, delivery preferences, or special instructions in the notes field, we will store that information to fulfill your service request.

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our storage and transport services
  • Process annual subscription payments and delivery fees
  • Schedule and coordinate container pickups and deliveries
  • Send transactional notifications (pickup confirmations, driver en route alerts, delivery confirmations)

  • Maintain your inventory and container records
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues
  • Protect against fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing analytics, or selling to third parties.

4. SMS and Text Message Communications

By providing your phone number and using our pickup and delivery services, you consent to receive text messages (SMS) from OnSeason Storage regarding:

  • Pickup and delivery appointment reminders and notifications
  • Driver en route notifications
  • Service updates and status changes
  • Transactional messages related to your storage service

Message and data rates may apply. You can opt-out of non-essential SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. However, certain transactional messages related to scheduled pickups and deliveries cannot be opted out of while you maintain active service.

We use Twilio as our SMS service provider, and your phone number and message data will be processed in accordance with their privacy practices.

5. Photo and Condition Documentation

To protect both you and our company, we may collect photos and visual documentation during pickup and delivery operations, including:

  • Photos of containers before pickup (to document condition)
  • Photos of delivery locations and completed deliveries
  • Photos documenting any pre-existing damage or concerns
  • Photos used for quality assurance and dispute resolution

These photos are stored securely and used only for service delivery, quality assurance, and resolving any disputes about container condition or delivery completion.

6. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers

We use third-party service providers who process data on our behalf to provide our services:

  • Payment processing: Stripe - You enter payment information directly into Stripe's secure forms. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers.
  • Email delivery: Mandrill - We send your email address and message content to Mandrill to deliver transactional emails (appointment confirmations, notifications, etc.)
  • SMS delivery: Twilio - We send your phone number and message content to Twilio to deliver text message notifications about pickups and deliveries.
  • Cloud infrastructure: DigitalOcean - Our application and database are hosted on DigitalOcean's secure servers.

These service providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us. We do not use analytics providers or advertising services.

Storage Facility Providers

We store your containers at third-party climate-controlled storage facilities (including Public Storage locations). While your items remain in storage, they are subject to the physical security and environmental controls of these facilities. We do not share your personal information with these facilities beyond what is necessary to maintain our rental agreements.

Business Transfers

We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access. These measures include:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
  • Regular security assessments and audits
  • Access controls and authentication mechanisms

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
